Basement main bathroom (as opposed to master bathroom;-))

Hi everyone - hopefully I do this post correctly.

I want to put the main bedroom in the basement as there's an eastern facing wall filled with a slider and windows and the grade is such that it technically is a "first floor" on this side of the house.

My question is the main bathroom - as I'm on the lower level - how complicated or ill-advised is it to put a full, main bathroom on the lower level? The septic tank is probably a 5 foot drop but the pipes are obviously leaving the house around this area. I need to pump up and out right? Am I correct in that? There is a bathroom there already - it has one of those pumps but it looks like it's just for the average occasional visit, not a daily/morning shower routine.

Thoughts from plumbers or folks who have done something similar?

Note that the bedroom and the main bathroom have about 300 sq feet to work through any mechanical issues. Lots of room to hide any sort of pumps or what not.

Thanks!
