Comments (98)Hi Kim, I've had Hayes Oak installed for 3 years now and I still love it. I get lots of compliments and as other commenters have mentioned, it pulls both warm and cool, depending on the amount of lighting in the room as well as paint and time of day but it always looks great. I'm also pleased that it doesn't have any yellow tones to it. Also love the wide plank look....See MoreCOREtec Hayes Oak... would love to see photos!
Comments (19)In my opinion it is the perfect flooring to have with kids and pets. It’s resistant to scratching; I’ve dragged furniture over it and have yet to see a scratch. Regarding footprints, I don’t have that problem with this color. In fact the color seems to camouflage any marks at all. If you love this color, I would not hesitate at all!...See MoreHighlands Oak Coretec LVP
Comments (44)Back to the Highlands Oak, and I realize this is quite old. I just placed the deposit for this flooring, and I'm planning to continue it right into the secondary guest bathroom that gets zero use. Let's face it, our son has been gone from home a long time. Do you guys have it in a bathroom? What kind of vanity, ie, white cabinet or wood tone do you think would look best? I need something pretty quickly and find myself having a hard time deciding this issue. Just ripped out all the old tile in the bathroom....See MoreCoretec Calypso Oak comparable
Comments (6)I get that. people always bring up kids and pets, and yet wood floors have endured for 100 years in homes. I'm just saying, for that amount of money coretec is charging, I'd rather have real wood. If all you want is durable, look into large porcelain tiles. Or maybe tile in the kitchen and real wood in the living area. there are plenty of engineered wood floors that will hold up to kids and pets. I just did a 7" european white oak and it's amazing! pet messes, water spills, dirt, whatever. cleans up great. (and looks so much better than fake wood. Will last longer too. ) look into some of the oak options. you might be surprised....See MoreJennifer Hogan
