Paint Design Dilemma Kitchens

What is the best white for kitchen cabinets to go with quartz.

What is the best BM white paint for kitchen cabinets that will go with Borghini quartz countertops. The quartz counter is white with gray veining. The walls are Balboa Mist by Benjamin Moore (neighboring room is BM Collingwood) and the floors are hickory wood; which will be refinished.

What brand quartz is it? Show pictures of your floor and space.

The brand is Pheonix quartz. I have not selected the floor stain yet.

If you are doing that dark color, you need to add extra lighting. More recessed, under cabinet, task lighting, room general lighting, accent lighting, etc.

Last year it took me hours and two visits to a MSI showroom to select the counters for two projects totaling 12 kitchens. I had never used a man-made stone before and I found the Quartz marble-like patterns to be unconvincing and inelegant but the granite-like patterns were much better and the best of those was Macaubas Wave that was elegant and understated which is what I think a large piece of stone in the middle of a house should be especially if you will be preparing and eating food on it. Color and texture is best provided by utensils, dishwater and accessories. It was not in a high price range but It was a new pattern and not in the online catalog. I don't know if they still sell it.

This is almost impossible to answer without knowing what YOU'RE looking for -- light, dark, color, etc. There's literally 1000s of choices that are going to work well with your cabinet color. If you don't know what you're looking for, then just get out there and go looking to see what you like in order to narrow it down.

I'm questioning your countertop choice. Balboa Mist and Collingswood are warm grays leaning beige/greige which seem consistent with hickory floors, but the counter seems like a cool gray. It's hard to tell what it's actually like, but I will say that the larger vein patterned quartz can be difficult to match and many complain in this forum of them looking very fake. As for a warm white, BM White Dove and Simply White are all popular warm whites, but it would be best to paint a door or something and bring it to the stone yard to check the color against your stone.

yeah, there are a zillion "white" quartzes that are all over the map on color. you need to match the specific one you have.
