Kitchen Color Dilemma

My husband and I are purchasing a home that needs updating throughout. The current trim work is an off-white color, I have not had a chance to get this color-matched yet. When looking at the house as a whole it looks white, but when paired with white you can tell it is very creamy.

My dilemma is the kitchen.

The plan for the kitchen is to:

-paint cabinets

-replace backsplash

-replace countertops

-hardwoods instead of the current slate floors

-replace all fixtures

-flatten the peninsula to be one (counter) height

-remove wallpaper border & paint walls SW Alabaster

Originally we were going to do white perimeter cabinets with the island and peninsula a different color. Some sort of marble/Carrera backsplash, and a white quartz with grey veining.

However, ideally, we'd match the cabinets to the trim color but because of the creaminess of the trim, the white countertops will make it TOO creamy, almost yellow. We do not want to paint the trim because it's a big house and overall we don't mind the color.

What can we do that would look nice?

-very very light grey (greige) perimeter cabinets and darker grey cabinets or maybe a blue

-whiter cabinets that don't match trim

-match the trim....if we do this....what do we do for backsplash and counters?

**There isn't a creamy color quartz other than white drift in the level we'd like to stay in.
