Who Knew Gasterias are Winter Bloomers?
Comments (2)Though not terribly showy (imo), it's always a welcome surprise. I had an aloe (the first time ever) bloom for me this summer. Considering the history of this poor aloe, gnawed flat to the ground by rabbits when first accquired, then like three years to recover to the size that I had accquired them. Then the following summer, proliferation and bloom. Amazing!...See MoreWow, who knew an Amur Maple tree could be a good screen tree at 5ft.
Comments (1)That is the good news for the homeowner but this is one of the reasons its an invasive. As long as you don't have a woods nearby not too much to worry about as birds don't disperse the seed only the wind....See MoreFollow up on Dog with Gerd.....Who Knew?!
Comments (6)Eld, we always added water, but so far, it’s the soaking that has done the trick...🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼! Hmm, but maybe not enough to make it float. The soak makes it look unappetizing, but if she doesn’t care....! Thanks all. 😊...See Morepinocchio, who knew?
Comments (12)I enjoy old movies from the 30's to mid 50's but they are slowly disappearing You don't have the Turner Classic Movies channel? I too am a big fan of older films, and they're there in abundance. As for Dr. Seuss, most of what Geisel wrote is still being published, and the few titles that the estate decided to stop publishing are readily available in the used book market online. I'm not familiar with what Disney has 'canceled', but are you referring to this? In October 2020, Disney Plus added a new content warning that appears as a slate prior to several older movies on the service that contain racist depictions, including “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan,” “Swiss Family Robinson,” “The Aristocats,” “Fantasia,” “The Jungle Book” and “Lady and the Tramp.” “This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures,” the advisory label says in part. “These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together.” https://variety.com/2021/digital/news/disney-plus-blocks-racist-films-kid-profiles-1234927194/...See Moreluis_pr
