The sealant makes the color of the pavers more dramatic. However it wears off and you have to keep recoating every year or so. I would not seal them, let it be natural.

I am building a pool and I chose Turkish limestone as the avcers and coping. Trying to decide which sealer to use. After researching I found stonetech saltwater sealer and dry treat 40sk. Which one a better sealer? Or is there anything better out there? I'm in South Florida.

millworkman, I think that many products are incompatible with others. I've used Thompson's WS on a covered pressure-treated deck for years... never had a problem, but it's the only finish I've ever applied to that deck. HU, I've been in that situation with cold and potentially wet weather vs a winter with no protection and I've gone with my gut. I've always been sure that the deck was thoroughly dry before applying anything though, and haven't pushed the limits too much on recommended temps, etc., so that it's readily absorbed into the wood. Be sure your wood is dry before applying the water seal and don't leave any puddles of the stuff and you'll lessen your chances of any problems.

We are having a beautiful blue textured/colored glass pool tile installed for a fountain feature and waterline in our new salt water pool. We are also using limestone pavers around the pool and on top of the spa, fountain and firepit, and also for decking. I've always had the indoor tile sealed for the showers. Wondering how this works with pools and whether it's a good idea or bad idea? Please advise based on your experience. Much appreciated!
