Can a pocket door be fire rated for residential?

Chris Schepp

I have an office that has a conjoining door from the office to the garage and a door from the office to the master bathroom.

I would like to have sliding pocket doors to save footage required for opening space. For both the door to the garage and to the bathroom my questions are:

  1. Does the door from office garage need to be firerated per code?
  2. Does the door from office to master bathroom need to be firerated per code?
  3. Are there fire rated pocket door options? If so, do you have links?

Attached are the design drawings of the office remodel I

am doing.
