I don’t know if you will use a tv in the space but whether you do or not, this is one possible arrangement.

Small scale sofa would face ‘tv’ wall. Divider screen would be in back of sofa on window/balcony side and sort of loosely wrap around on kitchen side. So divider would not necessarily cover entire back of sofa. Divider is there to delineate space and provide a bit of a wall for sofa.

Possibly a rug to further define space.

You mentioned modular - if modern/ neat and trim, good if some LR seating was lined up by window but- is it cold outside there? :)

If all the seating is lined up with back to windows, not only is it not the best Feng ShuI-wise, but OP and company will have a view of the kitchen.

The measurements on the plan come out pretty blurry, zoomed in might be better. I’ve a little over 50” in front of the window at the end of the corridor, and in the space next to the door about 40”x50”.

Thanks freedomplace1 for all the ideas! I’m selling my current couch. So open to all seating ideas. That does seem like the best placement for the tv, I would rather have it on a wall and it seems like the best option on that wall, unless I mount it on the ceiling or something like that.

Yes, that corner seems like a good spot for an island or dining. Close to the kitchen and doesn’t take up much of the living space :)

You’re welcome! I don’t know if you saw the comment I left a few minutes ago, but I was trying to set up your space with consideration to the Feng Shui of it all. So hence the sofa placement + screen serving as partial wall, etc. And I think you could use one and maybe even both of your existing chairs in the grouping.

And yes, from what I’ve been able to figure, it seems like that would be the best spot for tv. I had even considered mounting it from ceiling in front of windows, but with furniture positioning possibilities, that doesn’t seem to be an option. I do think tv works fine on that wall, though.
