What do I do with this wall space?
Comments (5)Looks like your "foyer" is full of doors, so this area could serve that purpose. First, consider updating the style of spindles or, if you have the budget, switching to a high pony wall in place of the railing and adding lighting in the stair well. Then you can put a foyer table against that railing area and art on the wall, or you can dress the pony wall with art and table. If you leave the railing and your rooms are fairly open, be sure you are working with the fabric and textile colors in the adjoining spaces when you choose a paint color. You could also add some textural interest to the walls. Texture and pony wall Pony wall as part of stairs...See MoreWhat do I put on wall ledge?

That said, the clock doesn't need to be the only thing on that wall, you could easily integrate it into a gallery wall with photos, art, etc, which might be more fun/interesting/pleasing than a big clock alone on a wall. That said, if you find a clock you LOVE, it could be the sole focal point, in addition to being a functional piece....See Morerobinbohbot
