Adding wood flooring to Texas Hill Country Contemporary Home

We are wanting to cover the current concrete floors with a new wood floor. The home is filled with wood accent walls that I am trying to find a flooring that will not clash with the multitude of woods.

We have a shou sugi ban poplar wall in the living room. This would be the only wood that would be directly next to the floor.

There is an accent wall in the mud room from mahogany pieces and the eaves are pine.

There are accent walls on the exterior as well made of IPE.

I love the grey of the concrete but we are wanting something easier on our feet. We would like to go with a lighter color wood floor. Any suggestions? I am also contemplating painting walls white and possibly cabinets as well to lighten it all up.

The focus of the house is the incredible valley view and I am not wanting any materials in the house to distract from it.

Thank you!
