Like pdxgal, I've had my fridge and wall ovens next to each other for 20 years with no problem. I, too, don't want to change my electrical service for those appliances, so the new ones will occupy the same positions. That said, you should be sure to e-mail customer service of the company that manufactures your new refrigerator and ask what their policy is regarding ovens and refrigerators next to each other. GE customer service told me it would void the refrigerator warranty. KA customer service told me the warranty would still be in effect, but they recommended 3 inches between the appliances if it was possible. I am going with the KA built-in side-by-side, and I have their answer IN WRITING (love e-mail!) regarding this appliance issue. FYI: When I asked GE customer service by telephone whether their policy was "carved in stone", they said yes. But their own marketing brochures have at least two photographs where their ovens and fridges are right next to each other!

The scale of these chairs are way too large for your space unless you have more room beyond the foot of the bed? I would find another place for one chair and use the other perhaps angled in a corner. You can put the bed in a position that works, but you need larger art and taller lamps for your night sands. Headboard is gorgeous. I would find a throw or blanket that tied the color of the headboard and the chairs together. Right now you have too much white and several other colors all separate. A couple pillows and a throw will help pull things together.

Not knowing where you live -- it's getting late on a Friday night and you'll need to get started on this in morning. So right now stay calm and someone may chime in to tell you what to do with the crown in the meantime. Tomorrow you can get your potting mix and supplies together, and plant the crown. Nothing can grow from the roots though. Can you post a picture of the crown next to something to give us a sense of it's size. (Perhaps a dollar bill or ruler.)

OMG! Don't ever place a comparatively tiny painting on the top of a "floating" fireplace! The fireplace is a sculptural object in a transparent glass wall, and the mass-space composition is what's important. Might as well hang a macrame plant holder there. If the painting is favored and important, find a proper place to display and illuminate it respectfully. Let the fireplace and the glass wall alone.
