Kith Cabinets Review

We are remodeling our kitchen and after researching, decided to go with a local designer who recommended Kith cabinets. We loved the look/style and they appeared to be great quality. The standard lead time for a Kith delivery is 6 weeks, so when our shipment arrived, we were thrilled. Understanding that there sometimes may be one or two imperfections in cabinet orders, we were shocked that 7/19 cabinets were damaged or unacceptable quality. We called our kitchen designer who was in contact with a regional Kith employee, they asked if it was possible to fix the broken cabinets ourselves or have on site repairs. We were shocked after making a $18,000 purchase we the customer was to bear the burden. Our kitchen designer came to the house and assessed the damage to order replacements, letting us know that it would be about a 4 week lead time for the replacement cabinets to ship from the warehouse. We were disappointed that our kitchen reno would now be delayed. After about 3 weeks, we received a call from Kith (first time hearing from them) saying they were sorry and that the replacement cabinets from the factory didn't pass their quality assurance test and that they were going to have to start the process all over again... we are still living without a kitchen and still don't have answers on when we will receive our cabinets. The most frustrating part is Kith doesn't seem to have any sense of urgency to correct the issue. We understand that things happen logistically and maybe they were broken in the delivery truck, but some of the issues were because of poor manufacturing. Cabinets we received included defects such as missing fasteners in plywood box , cracked face frames, stripped hardware and missing/uneven paint. it has been almost 3 months since our order was placed, We still don't know when we will receive the rest of our cabinets (which is holding up the completion of our kitchen). My father in law is a contractor and has been installing kitchen cabinets for over 30 years and he said he has never seen cabinets this bad before. The ONLY upside is the cabinets that weren't damaged are very nice looking. We do have to make some repairs on the ones we kept, but at this point, we have to work with what we have.
