I will try not to post too many

Different look for BAck Scratcher, but I ike it better than the normal

Black Fathom Depths seems like a great little daylily. I think this is its 2nd year, I got another clump elsewhere because a fan got separated and I did not know what it went to. It has multiplied like mad. I had to crawl around things so you got my big old shadow

Coach's Magic Man, a little blurry, but I am really liking this one. I have 2 fans, this is the 1st one blooming. The other has 2 scapes from it. Wondering if it is ok if I let both bloom or will it sap its strength?

Cosmic Odyessey and Butterfly Moon are very rich colors today with the cool temps

Entwined in the Vine had 2 blooms for its 1st appearance, but of course at opposite ends of the plant. Don't you love it when a plant looks the way you hope it will.

A group of Incendiary, you can't tell just how dark they are with the sun shining on them

I almost lost Sabine Baur a couple of years ago. When it bloomed last year, this is what I got. Not sure what happened, mayby Sabine dropped seed? I don't dislike this, just miss Sabine.

Today I really like your photos that have two daylilies in them. So my favorites are the one with Cosmic Odyssey and Butterfly Moon and then the one with Faberge Easter and Coach's Magic Man. The cool temps really bring out the blue tones, don't they? I like the Back Scratcher pic too!

Thanks all for the comments. I think I have around 14 daylilies that still have not opened. I cleaned up the blooms tonight as the weather for tomorrow is hot, hot, hot and will feel like over 100 with the humidity. Inca Puzzle must be somewhere around 10+ fans. I was surprised how many buds opened today on it. Usually would get 3 or 4 at a time. The deep color is always on Lavender Blue Baby and I suspected it is the soil. I don't feed any established daylilies. Only new ones get a dose of alfalfa pellets when planted and additional watering otherwise the rest are on their own. Debra: The foliage on Cerise Masterpiece is narrow/slim and not wide and lush. It doesn't get many buds here either. Those are rudbeckia with Open Door. I have no idea how they got into the garden so I'll blame the birds. Julia

Julia, you blooms are beautiful and so many lovey clumps. It was so nice to see Mean Green and clown Parade blooming together since here, Clown Parade has been finished for a bit before Mean Green even starts to bloom. I ahave always liked your Ribbit Ribbit and it looks great as always. Pattern Evolution is such an intense and beautiful color. Pretty Desirable is another pretty color too. I like the look of Thundercat. Not a clinker in any of the photos. This was a fun post and such a pretty one, Ju;lia. Vertical Horizon and Isabelle Rose are my favorites. Vertical Horizon has been on my wish list for several years. Let me know how it goes with hybridizing with that one. I have both Neon Flamingo and White Eyes Pink Dragon. I like the bloom on Neon Flamingo better, but White Eyes is definitely the better plant here. Debra

I bet Incendiary was dark today! I loved the cooler morning temps and getting to see the rich dark purples that Celeste sees every day hers bloom!! And I like the shadow picture of Black Fathom Depths--has an "artsy" look about it! The faux Sabine Bauer has an interesting look and story as well. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Glad EITV is blooming for and that it is pretty. I like Coach's Magic Man-that color is wonderful. Lots of goodies on here to go back and look at again.

Black Fathom Depths is a favorite of mine, Socmic is really pretty, and Harbor Blue is a really pretty one, Nancy.

I have 2 Sabine Baur in 2 different places. One clump blooms and the other clump I have had for 3 years and it has never bloomed. I will try to move It - but if no bloom next year its leaving!

Coaches Magic Man is a deep purple with teeth that catches the eye for sure. I like Eyes that See too. Great color. I'm not much into patterns, but Cosmic Oddity has one of the few patterns I really like. Lots of nice ones from you.............Maryl

Thank you everyone! I do love Coach's Magic Man, it is dark, but among dark daylilies it really stands out. Jumping Jack last year was splotchy a lot, this year not so much. The sepals do seem to have a different kind of cupping thing going on, but I find it rather interesting.
