Weathered Wood roofs look very nice with greige/taupe colors. Don't go too grey, instead lean a little more to the khaki side of green/gray by incorporating more brown in the color. Take a look at Sag Harbor gray HC-95 or Clarksville gray HC-102. When you try a swatch on the house paint it high enough to see with the roof color. Don't worry about the center color of the painted brick until you settle on the main color. Just some ideas, hope it helps. Very nice house and beautiful yard!

eld has a good question - where are you located, what type of setting are you in, what's the style of your house, do you like calm colours or vibrant ones, what type of artwork do you have/will you keep. what colours are in your furniture now, what type of flooring will you be using (hardwood vs carpeting/area rugs) We did this same thing a few years ago but I hired someone to help me through the whole process of the renovation so that I didn't screw up the colour coordination of tiles and cabinet colours and wall colours and flooring etc. I have a post and beam house on the west coast situated on the edge of a forest that goes on forever. Those characteristics, and our furniture, drove the entire renovation project including wall colours. And although it is no longer in style. I even have a feature wall of colour in the dining room which was driven by a piece of art.

try using a latex paint remover. you can find it at the big stores. grab a stiff wire brush and a bucket of water. it should work enough so that you don't see it. I photoshopped a few doors/colors/address plaques and lights for you. see what you like. ('cuz that 1950's grandma front door needs to go along w/those shutters!) I like the black option w/copper. the copper will compliment the brick color and the black always looks good w/both I like this door. And, you might think about painting the trim around the windows (did you notice I covered up all your shutters?? looks good huh?) in a darker trim color. gave you this mahogany glass panel door. modern black numbers, a modern chair. I'd paint the other door one of these dark colors, bring in a more modern light. If black is too harsh, think about Urbane Bronze or Iron Ore. both look great w/orange brick. try something modern like this w/the numbers, potted plants, lighting, Here is an orange brick house with complimentary colors and light fixtures. another nice door color is a peacock blue, sage, blue/green, tone soft blue/green with copper and your orange brick always look good Yam color door, bronze light, warm wood and gray tones also work. Here's a door w/natural wood. black mailbox and light (but I like the others above better) are those posts cedar or painted? These color palettes are also perfect w/your brick. (don't forget to paint your side door too.

I agree with removing the shutters. The curb appeal would be greatly enhanced by adding shrubs of different types and shapes and different shades of green and different leaf shapes, punctuated by colored perennials (in the colorways you like.) I like big brass house numbers, it tells people, "I want you to find my house!" Can you put up some more photos taken from further back so we can see more of the front yard and your driveway? What part of the country are you in? What gardening zone? Other Houzzers are much better than I at house paint colors. I am wondering if instead of those strict straight lines for the concrete in front of the house, if a curved area might be prettier, and on the concrete you could have some nice potted plants, and nice landscaping on the grassy side of the concrete. Maybe a small table and a couple of chairs with an outdoor rug on the concrete if you enlarged the concrete area a bit, and you could make a small pergola extending out from the roof, and you could hang a couple of plants from the pergola. Then it would look somewhat welcoming to neighbors. Even if you don't like your neighbors, it would be welcoming to you every time you drive home.
