Ideas for new construction color palette for Florida modern ranch home

We're in the process of building a new home in 10 acres in Central Florida. We're currently in the process of choosing colors for shingles, soffit/fascia, windows, paint, stone, etc. Here's the front elevation:

We're trying to avoid the beige with white trim color scheme that you see on so many homes in Central Florida. We like the browns and grays of the modern "Texas Hill Country" homes but we're having trouble applying it to our home. Here's an artist rendering we like:

Our builder has done a few homes recently with GAF Weathered Wood shingles and Kaycan Bronze soffit and fascia. There's something "off" about them but we're not sure what. Maybe the roof is too light? Here they are, one with brown windows and one with white windows:

Any ideas? Should we go darker on the roof? Maybe GAF Barkwood? White windows or bronze? Stone color? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
