We have a 10 year old Dura Supreme kitchen. I like the cabinet quality but there has been some chipping. Nothing drastic.

I recently saw a Dura Supreme white kitchen in a showroom. They have changed the way they paint. Much more durable.

since you are interested in stain cabinets, I think you will like the quality of Dura Suoreme.

We just installed Yorktowne cherry cabinetry with the cappuccino stain In our whole kitchen remodel. Yorktowne is virtually identical to Medallion. The color and finish are beautiful and unique. I knew I didn’t want a white kitchen. We spent around $25k (material only) for our small kitchen and pantry. Very happy with the results.

Thank you! We’re very happy with it. Our kitchen gets very little natural light, so overhead and under cabinet lighting is very important with stained wood. We wanted something personal and somewhat unique. The backsplash will definitely complete the look.

Funny enough, we also don’t get much natural light but also didn’t want to go with the white cabinets. White countertop will help reflect some light though!

DuraSupreme or Medallion either one would be fine. I’m partial to Dura’s frameless construction. More usable storage space. None of those will work with a 10K budget, unless you are just talking the island. Double that at a minimum. Average cabinet expenses on mid grade jobs are 25-30K. Larger kitchens than a 12x14 would be more.

Live wire — thanks for the insight. We have a small kitchen, would be 4 base cabinets including the sink and 6 uppers. We got a quote for kraftmaid that was about $7.5k. We are willing to go a little bit more for better quality but it’s certainly hard to swallow that it’ll be $20k for cabinets 😳

Hi Julie! We didn’t end up going with the cappuccino cabinets. We had to put the project on hold for a bit and when we returned to it, had to shift the budget priorities around. Still absolutely wish I could’ve gone with them though!

Bob W. are those cabinets just the cherry cappuccino? And what color is your floor? This is the exact look I want and I have met with a Yorktowne cabinet specialist and they don’t have any displays of the cherry cappuccino

I am a prior customer of Durasupreme for a total house remodel (and informed the regional and VP of sales) and had been impressed by the quality of the product, so when were remodeling a bathroom, we chose this company again. We ordered ~$12,000 worth of cabinets in APR21 with a delivery date of 4-6 weeks and informed the contractor who demolished the current bathroom. Approximately 1 week after doing so, the local vendor informed us the delivery date would now be AUG21. The vendor complained to Durasuprems and was able to wrangle a JUL21 delivery date. The real issues began with the delivery of this order, marked as complete and inspected by Durasupreme. Evidently damaged doors, a missing door, mismatched panels and a mirror that had the mounting holes drilled on the incorrect side constitutes a complete and inspected product at Durasupreme. The local vendor was contacted and finally weeks later the replacement and original parts arrived. As one would expect, the contractor who had to return to the jobsite on 2 additional occasions charged fro his services. When I contacted Durasupreme to inquire about what compensation was in order, I was met with a cacophony of gibberish that they had met the warranty and also it was “industry standard” to ship an order with missing or backordered parts. That would have been nice information to pass on the the vendor or the customer perhaps? After numerous calls and emails, I finally was granted a call with the vaunted VP of sales, who after spending 10 minutes telling me how great his company was and all the meetings they had over my issues with this order, flatly denied that any funds were due in spite of this laughable production issue and customer service. Do yourself a favor and find another cabinet company as Durasupreme now delivers supremely priced products, 3 Stooges level handcraft and abysmal customer service

Although, my kitchen reno is still a work in progress and I can't speak on purchasing an ENTIRE Schular Cappuccino Cherry Kitchen Cabinetry, I'll be happy to share my experience. So far, I can say that I have compared prices, as well as, quality between Yorktowne, Medallion and Merillat Masterpiece. Hands down, Lowe's Schuler Cabinetry was/is the best savings for the same good quality. If I had the budget, need or desire to replace all my cabinetry as part of my Kitchen Renovation project; I would 100% recommend Lowe's Schuler Cabinetry, Cappuccino Cherry!

Not to mislead or steer the topic; But my experience with Schuler's Cherry Cappuccino was/is somewhat limited to a fortunate mistake as a result of replacing my old appliances: Which was always part of my original kitchen renovation plans and budget; Including, my backsplash and countertops. In lieu of, keeping my 18 year old Yorktowne, Solid Maple Cabinetry because. my cabinetry was/is in great condition. Asides for the "Spice" stain color, I still love Yorktowne's "Hallmark/Ambrosia" door style and the amount of time spoke for the quality and my experience, By happenstance, my new appliances (Microwave & Oven) didn't fit into my old cabinet space. So, I was force to address the "Spice" stain now that I had to order a new "face front" cabinet. Which ultimately meant, I would be paying to populate the stain color that I never liked or compromise my design and new appliances. Which I felt lead me towards having the best of both worlds; Two-Tone Cabinetry (Paint and Cappuccino Stain) aka: a "fortunate mistake" because Schuler's "SAVANNAH" matches Yorktowne's "Hallmark/Ambrosia" Door Style perfectly and the Cappuccino Stain coordinates well with my new Cafe Matte White and Brush Bronze Kitchen Appliances! Now, if I can only get a response from Rob regard the flooring he used with his Cappuccino Stain Cabinets,
