I am painting my walls Anew Gray by SW. The wall color when we purchased the home was a dark brown. Now that we have started painting the walls, the trim has a peachy hue. The fireplace mantle and whitewash on the fireplace was done in the same trim color. I have painted a single coat of Annie Sloan Old White on the mantle which toned down the peach hues the fireplace had. Should I do another whitewash over the fireplace brick? What color do you recommend for the Trim, mantle and whitewash?

Looking for advice on how best to get this travertine fireplace to match the rest of updates in the house. Ideally I’d like to keep the stone look as the outside of the house has limestone, but don’t want it to just look painted over. Pictured are two views of the fireplace & the view from the kitchen (backsplash not yet installed but will be a subway tile with a ripple/wave to it). Thank you!

Wish we could see the entire wall...but going ahead with a suggestion, anyway. I would paint it all charcoal, brick and wall. See is you can clean the hearth tiles, but if not paint them charcoal as well. I like dark behind a wall hung t v as the paint helps the t v disappear. Notice how this wall has been paneled. Maybe the rest of the wall could have the same vertical paneling, painted charcoal.
