Laurensmom, you often have to go to the tile maker's website to find this slip resistance information. The US system has been the COF(coefficient of friction) and they tell you to make sure that any glazed tile on a floor that could be wet be over .60. (I would get as high as I could get.) Unglazed tile is rough and you apparently don't have to worry about slipping on it. I recently learned about the European system, too. Here is an article from Build.com about the different ratings. Though the DIN ratings are determined by how much of a slope can be walked on before the walker slips on the tile surface, I do not think that they are meant for when you are tiling ramps! It is just an easy and standard method of testing tiles that can be done anywhere by anybody, with the right equipment. So if you can classify tiles reliably into categories, then people will know what the tile they are buying will perform like. The DIN rating with the R are for dry tile. The ABC ratings are for walking on wet tile (with shoes, I believe). Then there is something called the pendulum skid resistance test that is numerical and divides into four groups. your electrical is buried behind the cabinet, that is illegal, sorry for the Karen moment, but that is a bit no-no, also very limited on what can cover that up as the wires will be exposed and the plate is not designed to have stranded wire run to it. Show me a top down view... I can help you but I need a more clear vantage point.

I would skip the marble on the floor and find a simple mosaic ( there probably is one to match the floor tile you have ) . Then do a large stripe or rectangle feature on the faucet wall of the shower with the pretty marble. Do the niche the same as the walls ( or since you are doing a pony wall, move the niche to there ). I would have the walls the same as the floor so you're not fighting whites. That tile is too pretty to be on a shower floor or in a niche behind shampoo bottles - feature it!

I’m sorry I don’t have pics but it was already done. I misunderstood about what you were asking, I just wanted advice about the wall next to the tub. This was just covered with paneling and wallpaper, I was concerned about that mdf beadbosrd , and what to do with the old cabinet., this is where we will hang our towels.
