There won't be a square rug in any ready to go rug. However, there are unlimited fantastic broadloom selections that would allow you have something/anything bound to a perfect 12 x 12., leaving you a nice 18 ish inches all around the perimeter. In fact, the best and newest broadlooms have been designed with just that capability in mind. They KNOW everyone wants hardwood, they know they also want rugs, and rooms have gotten larger over the decades. You'll find organic and chunky "green" wools, great patterns, stries, ..............even a sisal can be customized to the inch. A 9 x 12 will be the next best thing in ready made, although it's a size that weirdly gets passed over for 10 x 14 many times. And that is a bit less than perfect, for you.

Yes as above............BUT. You can select a broadloom you like, pattern or solid, and very easily have it bound to a perfect size. Broadloom is available in both 12 and fifteen foot widths, making the size and all else virtually limltless options. You aren't restrained to standard selections of 6 x9 , 8 x 10 9 x12 etc. Just one more reason to measure the room : )

42"+72" = 114" 66" + 72" = 138" Is the space you need in the room in order to walk around and sit at the table and you don't have that. You usually want about 12" minimum of space around the rug so that would be 141.5" - 24"= 117.5" 102.5" - 24" = 78.5"

Saxa I don’t think those water fountains goes with our rustic/farm theme. I think they are to contemporary for my taste. Also my three cats would have a field day with them. They love playing in water. Thank you for your suggestion! Much appreciated Daisy and Val as stated in my OP we are going to lower the tv. It is too high as it is. The plan is to remove the mantle and lower it about 5” and then lower the tv. Everyone in our house is in agreement that putting it on the side of the fireplace would be ackward for anyone sitting on the couch in front of the windows. And yes the cable will be put inside the fireplace. We specifically added a wall plug behind the stone. We just haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m still looking for that perfect rug!
