Thanks a Julie! i didn’t keep the round, sent back to wayfair. This rectangular one is nice and long 54 inches and the depth Is only 24 inches which gives some more walking room.

So as for the rug... I’m torn! The Reva rug is beautiful but thinking maybe the colors in the blue malika rug work better with my room and sofa fabric??

I will be honest that rug looks old ...I don’t like all the gold in it.....the other one is bright and refreshing..a new look for your home but still classic...but obviously you have to love it..you might even pull in the slate blue into the drapes..so pretty.

Ok leaning toward the Reva... the more I stare the more I like it. And it goes fine with sofa fabric right?

I love this slate blue pillow from Kirklands it is a really nice textured weave comes with a full inserts..they are a deal at $39 just another direction with a brighter blue...but with that rug you can doing anything...

So I had actually ordered the curtains shown above the other day. What does everyone think? Also this panel is part of pottery barn custom line so I can get whatever length I want to the nearest inch. I’ll add in the blue with pillows and accessories...

Thanks Flo! It’s looking good to me in person. Colors aren’t an exact match but they all seem to go together nicely. And it’s nice to see something other than those old panels up there since they were giving the room a yellowish tint.

Before you decide for sure on drapes..do they have anything in a lighter color? The dark oatmeal drapes are nice and does blend well but I would bring home something lighter just to test out and compare before deciding...you have time while you wait for your sofa.

What is the height of your new lamp? Looks very short?.....I think the matching end table is nice..the other one looks a bit too industrial..or maybe a round pedestal just in a nice wood stain or painted...like the idea of adding something painted into the mix keeping it light...

Hi Julie! The lamp is 21 inches high. I know that’s more of a bed table height but I liked the look of it. Is it too short for that space?? I wanted ome type of ceramic chunky lamp.

And ok thank you for the end table suggestions. I bought the end table that matches but wondering if it would be too much glass? I like the idea of pedestal as well. Here are the other tables in the room.

Oh 21” is way too short.....I have several pottery chunky lamps saved..what is your budget? I can post a few...I like adding garden stools in any room....I do like the dark round one in the second photo next to your lighter chair too... maybe if you keep your two round side tables you posted it may be best to do a square next to the sofa..

So got the new rug and it’s beautiful but a little lighter than I thought it would be... granted my current wheat colored sofa and chair are not helping things... my new sofa and chair will be a linen color Like the tufted chair I have in the pic... even so afraid it doesn’t go with the red/orange tone of my fireplace... thoughts??
