Would you paint this linen closet black?
Comments (8)i would probably end up painting it the trim color since the bathroom and cabinetry is right there and it's cabinetry is the trim color it looks like... (?) or at least very light... but, if not the trim color, and if it's not a stainable wood, i would probably do a neutral gray/brown/tan/taupe. i like black, but i don't think i would choose black for that spot.......See MoreIf using Natura, would I need to prime over Linen White Paint?
Comments (2)The best system is always going to be primer + 2 finish coats. For most people, skipping the primer is not a big deal, as long as you apply two full finish coats, it should look pretty good....See MoreLooking for the perfect color of "linen" for my kitchen cabinets . . .
Comments (11)Can you paint everything white for now and repaint after you have everything else in place? It's so hard to pick a dark paint without being able to see all the variables. Since you won't get much natural light and have red floors (which are pretty difficult to work with for a greige paint), your best bet might be to keep the wall color light. You could get Swiss coffee darkened by 25-50% for a seamless look (natural elements is closest to that look, it's one shade darker). Halo would still be light enough but will probably look more green against the red. Another choice would be edgecomb gray but it's more brown- although this will help it blend with the red better. Here it is also with Revere pewter and some black granite just to show you. I think Revere pewter will be much too dark for your space, but if you like the muddier look it has you can try Revere pewter....See MoreNeed a white paint recommendation for linen cabinets
Comments (3)well that is already done. now i am looking for a paint color for them. The first two photos are before the floor was finished. The third shows the floor finish....See MoreMarc Cerisier
