Democrat Election Judge Admits to Stuffing Ballot Box for Democrats

Stan Areted

Look who is committing election fraud for democrats, as fast as his little fingers let him.

Oh, practicing for November, I see!

"Philadelphia Democrat Judge Domenick DeMuro admitted that a political consultant — whose name prosecutors did not reveal — paid him to add votes for Democratic candidates running for the bench and other federal, state, and local offices, prosecutors said.

The consultant, who is a former elected official, took fees from the candidates and used part of the money to pay DeMuro, a judge of elections in the 36th Division of the 39th Ward, they said.

In May 2014, DeMuro inflated vote totals by adding 27 fraudulent ballots in the primary election, 40 votes in May 2015, and 46 in 2016, according to court documents outlining the scheme and the charges against him.

While those numbers may seem small, prosecutors said, they made up a significant percentage of the total votes cast at the polling place. In 2014, 118 total ballots were reported there, which means that DeMuro’s fraudulent votes accounted for over 22% of the total voting in that division in 2014. In 2015, his fraud accounted for over 15% of the votes in the division; in 2016, his fraud accounted for over 17% of the votes.

Al Schmidt, vice chairman of the Office of Philadelphia City Commissioners, which runs elections, said his office found that DeMuro’s 36th Division had a history of more votes being cast on machines than the number of voters who signed poll books. His said his office referred the division’s troubling vote numbers from 2014 and 2015 to the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

“It was pretty flagrant, and it was repeated again and again. It was a source of frustration for me because it kept occurring again and again,” he said of DeMuro’s division.

“DeMuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear. This is utterly reprehensible conduct". https://www.inquirer.com/news/voter-fraud-philadelphia-ward-leader-judge-of-elections-domenick-demuro-guilty-plea-20200521.html

"Sounds like an argument for mail in voting..."

Sounds like Dems didn't trust the voters to make the right call. Sounds like Dems had the money and the will to rig elections against the will of the people. We can all be grateful they got caught. Just as we are grateful that swamp creatures trying to pick our president for us got caught.

Amazing how the right won’t ever say the same about GOP voter fraud or be glad when it’s caught and those responsible held to account.

What ever happened to that Republican political hack in NC, Leslie McCrae Dowless, who was charged with ballot rigging last year for altering absentee ballots in a 2018 Congressional election? And to judge by his history, it wasnt his first try. Guess his trial is still pending.

Yes, mail in voting will prevent this. I wonder how many of the voting machines, provided by republican supporting company have been programmed to skew elections for republicans? With no paper trail?

I'm sure anyone who puts their mind to it can manufacture mail-in ballots. Just as it is possible to subvert other voting methods. Fortunately most municipalities have procedures in place to prevent fraud with those.

Having done mail in twice in my life (being out of state) I do personally feel my vote "counts" better if I can do it in person - but I do understand with the virus a reluctance to do so this year.

The military for generations have done mail-in balloting. Has anyone complained about that?

I'm glad that election judge was caught prior to November. One less crook.

Yes, Margo, and the ' other' plan is to get more people to vote. In person voting will be a nightmare w 6 ft between every voter. I love that we are getting in front of the problem w a viable solution. Let's continue to exercise our rights, and keep each other safe at the same time.

The Myth of Voter Fraud
https://www.brennancenter.org/issues/ensure-every-american-can-vote/vote-suppression/myth-voter-fraud

Extensive research reveals that fraud is very rare. Yet repeated, false
allegations of fraud can make it harder for millions of eligible
Americans to participate in elections.

Overview

It is important to protect the integrity of our
elections. But we must be careful not to undermine free and fair access
to the ballot in the name of preventing phantom voter fraud.

Politicians at all levels of government have repeatedly, and falsely,
claimed the 2016 and 2018 elections were marred by millions of people
voting illegally. However, extensive research
reveals that fraud is very rare, voter impersonation is virtually
nonexistent, and many instances of alleged fraud are, in fact, mistakes
by voters or administrators. The same is true for mail ballots, which are secure and essential to holding a safe election amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Brennan Center's seminal report The Truth About Voter Fraud conclusively
demonstrated that most allegations of fraud turn out to be baseless and
that most of the few remaining allegations reveal irregularities and
other forms of election misconduct. Numerous other studies, including one commissioned by the Trump administration, have reached the same conclusion.

Voter fraud is unacceptable, but we must find solutions that address
actual problems instead of imposing policies that make it harder for
millions of eligible Americans to participate in our democracy.

Fraud is very rare.

Extensive research reveals that fraud is very rare. Yet repeated, false
allegations of fraud can make it harder for millions of eligible
Americans to participate in elections.
_______________

The Brennan Center’s seminal report on this issue, The Truth About Voter Fraud,
found that most reported incidents of voter fraud are actually
traceable to other sources, such as clerical errors or bad data matching
practices. The report reviewed elections that had been meticulously
studied for voter fraud, and found incident rates between 0.0003 percent
and 0.0025 percent.
Given this tiny incident rate for voter
impersonation fraud, it is more likely, the report noted, that an
American “will be struck by lightning than that he will impersonate
another voter at the polls.”

Gee, maybe Lincoln didn’t really win in 1864—what with many soldiers submitting mail in votes. We’ve had mail in voting since then, it’s called absentee ballots. Military personnel submit absentee ballots. I have friends who have lived overseas since the 70’s and submit absentee ballots. Mail- in/absentee ballots have not been a source of any significant voter fraud in 156 years and Trump’s own Voter Fraud Commission concluded the same, which makes it all the more astounding he’s trying to push this narrative now.

Funny how the same voices insisting that Putin put Donald Trump in the White House simultaneously insist voter/election fraud is a myth, or that it's very rare.

Of course, there are indeed instances of cheating at the ballot box, and as you can see, some of those people have been dealt with through our justice system. You can see what methods various criminals in your own state used, as they tried to cheat Americans and our system out of free and fair elections.

https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud

Note that Putin's supposed "method" of putting Donald Trump in office has yet to be explained in the clear terms we see in adjudicated cases at the above link. Unlike the Dems' endless accusations against the Trump campaign, we can easily learn who got caught in each state, how they tried to create the outcome they wanted, and what they were found guilty of doing in their quest to rig the outcome.

There was no method because it didn't happen. No evidence.

They've got nothing, and had nothing since before President Trump was elected, although they sure tried and they sure lied. Still do.

The citizens of this country voted and Donald J. Trump was elected President.

End of story.

Maybe a new chapter come November, we shall have to see.

Mailin ballots--nope.

Identification and voting in person unless there is a good reason as to an exception from voting in person, for mail in.

Too many diversions from our process encourages fraud.

Recently, South Carolina ballots were discovered in Maryland.

LOL, sounds like a story from The Enquirer!

Actually, the ballots I referenced that were found in Maryland, were ballots for SOUTH Carolina. Nothing to do with North Carolina.

Put what in my pipe? I don't have a pipe.

What makes you think I have a pipe? I've never said anything about a pipe.

Why would you say such a thing?

I don't smoke. Nicotine, drugs, nothing, never have never will.

The fact that I don't probably contributes to my excellent attitude and the ability to laugh at nonsensical and totally irrelevant comments!
