@sally Mine is tall too but has a lifting appliance garage on bottom and upper cabs on top. I think yours will look fine. @dmac1108 it’s off white/gray or greige. We love the color! I had a soft bright white in my last kitchen so wanted to warm it up this time.

I was rather afraid of a 30”w cabinet on the counter being too large but looks ok overall. I also voted no glass on top.

question - for those that used the Chloe look alike tile, the Adessi Zellige Pearl from F&D, what did you guys use to add the trim to the edges of a kitchen backsplash? I'm planning to tile from the counter top all the way to the base of the wall cabinets, but not sure what color trim to use, because of the color variations. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

@Annie T. We used a schluter trim. It is metal and off white. We could of used one that wasn’t as deep since there is an edge to it. Floor and Decor associates helped me.

Oh!! Thanks for the recommendation. I've seen the pencil trims in a bright white and also in a light beige color. Do you think either one of those would work? Btw love your photos!

We have bedrosian cloe in herringbone with calacatta ultra quartz. We have dark brown cabinets and we are thinking of going upper whites and black base cabinets.

Would it be possible for you to share more of your kitchen's pictures so we can get an idea? Thanks in advance.

We are contemplating about keeping the cabinets as is (dark brown) OR do them tricon black. I am worried if sanding/priming/painting would make them worse.

Current state needs some love. There are some cabinets that need touch-up because of usual wear and tear.

Another point is, with coutertops new and new flooring, cabinets would be the only odd one out.

@hari p - I acually thought that your cabinets were a black stain when I saw the photos. My original plan for my kitchen renovation was to use a black stain/dye for my island. If that wasn’t possible, Tricorn Black was one of the paint colors I had on my list. It’s a pretty color.

I think that it’s difficult to leave an important component of your project the same after replacing other parts. I didn’t plan on replacing the vanity in my upstairs guest bathroom - but once they removed the toilet and started ripping out the floor, I immediately panicked about my decision - and asked my contractor if he would remove it. Luckily, he was happy to remove it and the big mirror - and offered to also pick up the new vanity/mirror/faucet and install them.

I just ordered a new light fixture for the bathroom a couple days ago. I now want to replace the perfectly fine 4x4 white tiles around the combo shower/tub . . .

@starpower144 we are renovating our home using the laza quartz countertops! Thanks for the pics. Not sure if im going to use the cloe or the zellegi from F&D depends if i can find the cloe in stock before we get to the BS. Heres my floor, paint is SW pure white and the laza. Cabinets are almost done being built. We having a hard time finding a good painter whos avalaible.

FYI - I ordered over $2k of Cloe tile from walmart.com. I ordered Jul 03, it was supposed to arrive Jul 14 - from walmart.com. It has not arrived and walmart has no details. It's a LOT of money and I have no idea what is going on. Will post again when I know more.

@dcfixerupper - something odd has been going on with Walmart.com. I ordered my Cloe White tile for my kitchen from Lowe’s. However, I ordered some baby blue Cloe tile (same as Equipe’s aqua tile) for a bathroom renovation:

My tracking said ”delayed in transit” or something like that for several days. Then it just showed up one day. About a week or so later, I received another delivery from Walmart. Hadn’t ordered anything else - it was a second delivery of Cloe tile. I called Walmart confused - apparently, on their system never updated the dleivery so after a certain number of days, they just had another shipment sent out. They told me to keep the tile or donate it. The tile was going to go on the wall behind the vanity - now that I have double the amount, I’m considering retiling the shower instead.

My daughter ordered three new ceiling fans off Walmart.com for her new home. The order

didn’t arrive when scheduled - no updates available on the tracking. She called a couple days after they were supposed to be delivered to find out the status - customer service had no idea. They sent out new fans which arrived in a couple days. And about two weeks after that - the original three boxes of fans showed up on her front door. . .

I ordered two light fixtures from Lamps Plus through Walmart.com. I decided to order though Walmart because they have a 90 day return period + able to return items to a store vs. incurring return shipping costs. Last weekend, I decided to return the light fixtures (I selected a third one from a different retailer). For whatever reason, I was unable to get into my account in order to double check the delivery date to see how much time I had left to return the lights to a store. I did an online chat - and the respresentative told me that she would process my refund for me right then. She then told me that I could just keep, donate or dispose of the light fixtures. I was like, ”Ummm . . okay . . . ” Nothing was wrong with them - I had told her that I simply decided to go with a different light fixture. But she refunded them anyway and said that if I couldn’t use them somewhere in my home, I could give them away or donate them. The two light fixtures totaled just a little over $800. Makes ZERO sense to me!

Very odd. You should definitely call them back and tell them that you want a new shipment sent out TODAY. If Lowe’s has them in stock, you could get a refund from Walmart and buy new from Lowe’s instead. I’ve ordered several items from Lowe’s for my bathroom renovations - all items arrived on time and were perfect. While Lowe’s doesn’t have the best selection of shower fixtures/sinks/toilets at the actual store, they have many high quality ones available online.

It seems like Walmart.com has been doing some odd things lately. Maybe it’s always been that way - the Cloe tile was my first online purchase through them.

Ended up doing cloe tile with quartz as well.

Bedrosians makes an 8” x about 1/2” Cloe white “jolly“ tile to finish the edges.

@sharonfriend1 the backsplash is the floor and decor Adessi Zellige opal polished. It is a glossy finish. The Calcutta Laza is quartz.

I just wanted to chime in here because this thread was SOOO helfpul when I was picking out my kitchen finishes. We ended up doing Bedrosians Cloe in white with Hanstone Montauk quartz and we LOVE the way it came out. I hope these pics can help someone else. 😁

@JN1355 thank you The walls are SW Agreeabale Gray, I liked it with the Montauk because it picks up both the gray and tan colors.

@JN1355 it also goes the creamy whites and grays in the Chloe white very nicely.

I picked Cambria Ella - it looked great with Cloe - I opened a full box. I ultimately went with Ann Sacks Savoy in rice paper though.

Has anyone used the Cloe tile around their window with a shutter? We did a remodel to our condo in Fla, have always loved the Cloe but am having analysis paralysis about running it up to ceiling around window due to shutter, also is a subway stagger too much horizontal lines w shutter? I just don’t want it too sterile looking. I already have purchased the tile but not sure how to set the tile and what grout to use. The tile goes beautifully w my quartz.
