ISO milkweed plants
last year I started a milkweed garden from seed and they did amazing last year and came up stronger this year. I took in 20 monarch eggs and 16 of them hatched and I’m starting to realize I’m not gonna have enough milkweed. There’s a field with milkweed all over but I know it’s extremely difficult to transplant due to taproot. I know you’re suppose to not Take in more than you can handle but I felt bad leaving them out due to sightings of tachnids and other predators. I found 8 more eggs today but decided to bot take them in and let nature take It’s course. I was wondering if anyone has rooted milkweed cuttings or plants they could spare in order to make the garden thicker and help some monarchs. or if anyone has tips on what to do. I’m thinking about taking Cuttings from the field but I heard they take up to 2 months to root. thanks.
