Need to choose new exterior house paint colors - will this look good?
Comments (5)I agree with Lori. It's best to pick from all the colors already in your brick -and there are many. It looks like that's what they did when they chose colors the last time, although I wouldn't have favored the orange so much. There are lots of pretty shades of red in the bricks you could choose for you door, several to choose from undo the window. The wine looks like a mis-match in my opinion. I'm not big on paint colors but my description of paint I would choose would be a rustic red....See MorePlease help choose exterior paint colors for house with tan roof
Comments (10)I think a shade of green would look great with the brick and roof colors. Check out Sherwin Williams mountain road.....it is a green with a lot of greige/beige in it. I would consider SW loggia siding with SW mountain road shutters, and a darker color for the front door, such as SW porpoise. Comments (1)I have removed all shrubs in the front. The front door is set back and hard to see but same stain as the shutters. And the stone is the same on both sides of the garage. I have no idea of paint colors and was wondering if i should do a trim contrast? The gutters along the house match the shutters as well....See Moreneed help with exterior design of mid-century home!
Comments (16)it's a really cool door! a little too "flower power" for such a sleek modern exterior, but painting it will make it look better and be a nice holdover until you could afford a new door. (and keep the old one, I really do love it. maybe it could be repurposed somewhere else.) I'd suggest a new handle set too. updated but not too modern (anything too hard edged might look odd with that flowery design). such as this one from kwikset? I think it comes with a keypad version too if that's what you want. you can always relocated it to the new door when if that gets replaced....See MoreBrown Dog
