Complete Family Room remodel
Our 1969 entire home remodel/fixer upper. . These pictures highlight the family room remodel. We removed 2 walls. One being a large load barring wall that separated a formal living room & small family room to achieve a wide open new and improved family room. We ended up having to re-sheetrock due to the hard-to-remove wall paneling. It was glued! Then we trimmed all windows, added large baseboards, textured ceilings, shiplapped fireplace, and painted. The long awaited day that new carpet and wood flooring was finally installed was glorious! It took 3 very long months and will forever be a labor of love

Comments (6)If you do the gears (kind of cool!), please mesh them properly. I like the clock. It goes! And I like clocks anyway. But that clock is not redundant. If you're close enough to read the digital appliance clocks, you probably can't read the big one, and vice versa. Are you sure you need something else? Try taking the plants off the fridge and see if it looks more "done". They make it seem like you need stuff going on up there, and I'm not sure that you do....See More

3 years agolast modified: 3 years ago@beautifulquebec these pictures where taken right after completion. We’ve since added wall decor, window treatments & fireplace mantel. Not exactly bold “pops of color” but it fits my modern/simplistic decor taste. (White heart emoji covers my daughters face for privacy)
