Need help choosing kitchen cabinet color
Comments (7)Have you seen the "painted stone' color from American Woodmark - Waypoint Living Spaces? Yes it is gray and yes it could be a little too much, but it certainly would be outstanding !!! I have seen many kitchens combining the warm and the colder tones and they loose all effect... add the color in the backsplash with the subway tiles!!! Here the beautiful doors for your beautiful granite click doors Waypoint...See MoreNeed help selecting kitchen cabinet paint colors!
Comments (27)Your friend should tell you which stone yards he/she works with so you can go look at the slabs (with a cabinet door with you to hold up against them) and take home samples of the ones you like to see in your lighting. Given the warm tones in the cabinets and floor, creams or warmer whites would probably be better than cool/stark whites or grays. Unless you want to go dark - then a black would work well too. It all depends on what your style is, the colors you like, and what you are looking to achieve. Do some googling and searching on here - warm wood kitchens - and see what you like and strikes your fancy. While getting ideas from pictures is great to steer you in a general direction, slabs vary greatly in person so you MUST see everything in person or run the risk of being hugely disappointed in what you get vs. what you *thought* you were getting. https://www.google.com/search?q=oak+cabinets+with+granite&client=safari&hl=en-us&prmd=isvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjCyZLZ_eDfAhXIwlQKHd_jDnwQ_AUoAXoECAwQAQ&biw=375&bih=544...See MoreNeed help on kitchen cabinet color
Comments (8)The light in your photos is very different. Make sure you are looking at the paint in neutral light -- you may need to update your bulbs to 4000K lights to get neutral light. Lighting can change the hues a lot, letting certain undertones out or altering the appearance. of the colors you have I like the one on the right best but I'm not sure any of them are right! Your backsplash tile seems to have some green tones to it. I wonder if a little bit of a greeny-beige tone... SW ethereal white? I'd rather see you step away from white-whites. Go off white but not warm yellow direction. SW Pacific Fog?...See MoreNeed Help! Kitchen Cabinet Color blend w/White Dove Trim
Comments (4)The White Dove trim really doesn't butt up to your cabinets, so you'll be fine. look at Simply White. It's a shade brighter than white dove. White Dove is a lot 'dingier' looking. I did my walls with it and didn't like it. I repainted w/Simply White. I had my cabs refaced and painted with it Oxford White would be another good pick. btw, to get new doors and drawer fronts (and I have 3X as much as you do) was only an extra 2K. (I used 60 handles just to give you an idea of how many cabinets I have) My cabs were custom build and solid wood, so I wasn't looking to replace the cabinets. the reface was a perfect solution. make sure you get a full overlay so you won't have exposed hinges. Oh, I also got all of the soft close european hinges w/my new doors/drawers....See Moreb_op
