Comments (22)I have a 4 foot tall healthy, thriving Saguaro, and I live in chicagoland.. It stays in the house in a southern exposure from October until June. It gets watered MAYBE 4 times during those EIGHT months! Once it goes outside, I water it about every 2-3 weeks in the summer, using a moisture meter as my guide. Plus, you must ALWAYS have the same side facing south, or they will burn and die..I mark my pot with a painted red dot, so I know to ALWAYS keep that side facing south..VERY IMPORTANT to NOT turn these guys.. You MUST keep these guys super dry in the fall/winter, and even in the summer, they can go awhile without water, even if its 90-100 degrees. They are like sponges; you can see them swell up when you water them, and you watch them start to shrivel up a bit the dryer they get. Remember, they are native to the Arizona desert, where they might get 4 inches of rain ALL YEAR..Overwatering will kill these guys, and that is what you did to your little guy..My 4 foot tall guy is in a 14 inch diameter pot, which is only a little bigger than they one you had your little fingerling in....See MorePlease help with decision about bevel wall mirror

Comments (13)Beautiful! I'm a fan of pleated shades - not cellular, although that could work, too, but I find pleated to be a cleaner look and the stack is tiny so they disappear when fully open. They are light filtering, not room darkening but in general, anything that is room darkening has a larger stack because it's a thicker or doubled material. On your windows, because they are not very tall, if you hung pleated shades as an inside mount, the stack would probably not be more than the size of your window frame. In other words, none of the glass would be covered when they are open it would all be exposed to your view....See MorePlease help the helpless :-). So lost and such small space
Comments (14)Read guidelines 5,6, and 20 of this link http://starcraftcustombuilders.com/bath.design.rules.htm#.V5DQCDsrK9I I would do some exact measurement to make sure you have enough space for that double vanity in order to meet building code. Plus making sure you have a full 36" or more available in toilet space vs the 30" minimum for code makes a huge difference in comfort level. The goal in a small space is not to make it feel as cramped and small as it is so I would definitely trend towards the smaller single vanity choice. Even though a double can be desirable, once people really think about it, most find that the amount of times where they would need to use the sink at the same time is relatively few and then when cramming them too close together they find they are too close to be able to use them practically anyway (most of us need elbow room). If storage is the main consideration, you can do a larger single or come up with alternative storage spaces, of which there are many options. But with that said, this is your bathroom so do what you like, but make sure you measure to ensure that your plan does in fact meet code. I don't recommend a toilet wall in a small bathroom as it would fragment and further close down an already small space and I'd be concerned about egress when the bathroom is only 4 ft wide to begin with. You want it to feel like a bathroom and not a couple of closets stuck together....See Morekeith Dcil
