Better Quality version of Pottery Barn Pierce sectional
Comments (4)Check out the Preston sectional from Room&Board. It is extremely comfortable and can be configured in many different ways. The standard fabric it comes in is not microfiber, but it can be ordered in any of the Room&Board fabrics and no extra charge (allow more time). Compared to Pierce sectional I believe it is better quality. You won't be disappointed. We bought ours last year and we are so happy with it we will be ordering it in sofa form for our gameroom. It is that comfy. Here is a link that might be useful: Room&Board website...See MoreSmall sectional sofas?
Comments (8)I looked at the dimensions on the Pottery Barn sectionals last night on line and I was impressed that it said the seat depth was about 23". Overall depth was 35"...so that seems to me like the back pillows would have be pretty supportive to prevent us from feeling like we were falling backwards but at least it might be worth trying. I also want to go try the Clayton Marcus at our nearby stores but unfortunately DS is home sick and I think may be tomorrow as well so it may be Friday or this weekend before I can pick up where I left off. I'll be sure to post the results of our next foray out to test sofas! I really appreciate the suggestions--thanks....See Moresectional sofa help
Comments (5)I have a purple (!) microsuede slip-covered sectional;about 10 years old. I was leery at purchase time b/c it was not at all what I'd imagined, but it has been wonderful. It cleans easily with a wet paper towel (until it's time to toss the slips into the washer), dog fur vacuums off easily, and it is soft and cozy but still stays tidy looking. The brand is Rowe (which does not have terrific online reviews ) but we've been very happy with it. The slips fit tightly and the purple color doesn't look crazy with my other furniture. The one problem is that the pieces do not fasten together well....See MoreAnyone have a sectional you like? Everything seems to get bad reviews!
Comments (8)We are on our second sectional from Lazy Boy. I know Lazy Boy doesn't get a lot of love but our first sectional from Lazy Boy held up really well. It is now being used in my daughters apartment. We bought a new sectional from Lazy Boy but it is not small. I call it the Joey and Chandler sectional. Anyone that is a fan of Friends will know what I mean. I wanted a sleeker sectional. I also wanted the option of reclining. When we went to the Lazy Boy store DH's pick was the Joey and Chandler type and mine was a smaller sleeker type. I lost and the reason I lost was due to comfort. We sat on the smaller sleeker sectional and it was like sitting on cement. In our household we are sprawlers. We don't sit on a couch. We sprawl. So comfort overruled style....See Morecalidesign
