I've found myself 'following' people by mistake, too. If you scroll over someone's username, the first box will be either be blank, or say 'follow'--if you allow followers. If you have followers, the next box will tell how many. If I click on that box it tells me who they are. Debrak, you have 3 followers and you are following 4 people. I do not have following enabled or 'allowed' which sounds kind of snooty, lol. It has to be checked in your privacy section of advanced settings in your profile. I assumed it was to let us keep track of members our friends are following--if I like your style, I might also like the styles of those you follow. Your page gives me the option to follow the same members you are following. I noticed that if I click on 'activity', on the left side of my profile page is a list of my recent activity, threads I've started, and my comments on other threads. I don't think that's been available all along, but have no idea when it was added.

I have a few I am following and I have lots following me. Originally when houzz took over we had to be following each other to be able to message each other. I certainly don't have a problem with following or followers. My guess is some of those following me are keeping up with my flooding progess. I have lots of followers on pinterest and that certainly doesn't bother me either, I am not following many on pinterest. I don't do Facebook but those that do usually have lots of followers etc. I don't understand why it is bothersome to have a member following you here? I had no idea I had those following me but it's fine with me. Not like they would find out anything more about you than what you are posting publicly.

Rhizo, I was one of your followers (at least I think) and am not offended. Happened by accident before I even looked at the Kitchen Table. You were always helping identifying caterpillars and bugs in the Butterfly Garden. Sometimes when I hit the notification bell icon, instead of getting to the thread I accidentally land on the profile of whoever posted last (iPad). What does the following even do? I never got any notifications about anybody I am following (and there are some more accidental butterfly people). Never bothered to unfollow anybody for that reason.

If this subscriber looks suspicious and triggers you, you can block him. Also, you can remove him from your subscribers. However, blocking the user will still be more effective in protecting you from his infiltration. I also used to dislike the notion that anyone was watching my life. But as of late, I got rid of my inner limitations and wanted to show everyone the best side of me. I even bought subscribers through MegaFamous. Now I have about five thousand of them. Of course, to keep people interested, I have to create content. So I post baking recipes and my travel photos with my husband. Now it's much harder for me to keep track of suspicious personalities, but they don't scare me anymore. If they start writing me nasty stuff, I delete it and add users to my blocklist.
