Help with Bathroom Vanity Lights
Comments (15)Oops, sorry. I fixed it. I'll look for directions to do it from the web and link when I find it. I've memorized it, but when you try to write it out and give all the symbols, then it appears like you are trying to post a pic (inside the directions) and it gets all goofed up. Someone figured out how to write it out, tho and I'll look for the directions. (edited to add link). Scroll down to Graywings' post - I use those directions. Seems confusing until you try it a few times. Print out the directions and experiment. There is a test thread, I think on the member pages where you can try it out. Oh, I think I still like #2 but #4 is very nice, too. I find I am not fond of flared glass - but it's just my bias. Here is a link that might be useful: directions for posting photos from the web. Comments (16)yaya, that makes more sense - I was trying to picture what you were saying and didn't get it :-) Using side lights was a suggestion made on the bath forum and I think I like that idea. Then I could place the lights a little lower and not have them so crowded. If I do this, I'd have enough room for rectangular tile mirrors instead. Do you think those would look better than the ovals? If I use oval mirrors, should I use rectangular sinks? annz - I LOVE the Craftsman style bathroom and put that in my dream home folder. For this house, we've already put so much money into remodeling and have done everything custom in other rooms, but we're planning to move in a few years. I'm trying to stick with my plan of using nice materials but at the same time keeping it basic and low cost (it's hard for me to do!). I also want it done by June and if we start talking custom framing around the mirrors DH will take forever to finish! andrea - if we were staying here longer than a few more years I would have done so much more to change the footprint of this house, including the placement of windows! We just redid all of the stucco and outside trim, so I know changing the window placement isn't an option for us. It is limiting though....See MoreHelp please. Bathroom vanity lights question.
Comments (7)Hi Jackowskib - thanks for the photo. I really like the look. I do have two recessed lights in the room as well. What is the width of your vanity lights. The two light fixture is 13.5 inches wide. The three light fixture is 23.5 inches wide. I wasn’t sure which would look better with the mirror that spans across the width of the vanity. I do like your two rectangular mirrors though. But I’m worried that would make my space look smaller....See MoreHelp finding bathroom vanity lighting
Comments (4)Where are you planning to mount these? Over a mirror? Adjacent to a mirror (as sconces) with the bulbs in your face? Elsewhere in the bathroom?...See MoreJenna Moskal
