black spots and lines on monarch chrysalis?

Hello! I am very new to monarch, and butterflies in general! My mom brought me some milkweed plants (which are in the ground outside) a few weeks ago and two caterpillars managed to survive the awful wasps I’ve been catching to cocoon. This one chose a stem which drooped so I very carefully attached the stem to a strong stick on my porch, out of the weather. The chrysalis is a week old and the black definitely showed up in the past 24 hours. I doubt there is much I should do, but will it be okay? (If anyone was going to ask I just had the Tupperware there in case the stem dried up so he wouldn’t get stuck in the couch/wall crack if he fell!)

EDIT: it has been on my porch 3-4 days now, so I don’t think the move caused it but who knows!
