Mohawk Revwood Plus feedback
Comments (254)Stephanie, Did you decide on a floor yet? I am in the same boat as you... Was leaning towards COREtec LVP, but am intrigued by the RevWood. I'm getting confused what will last the longest - LVP with WPC or SPC, or a laminate like RevWood. Too many choices! We plan to stay in our house forever and have pets. So we want something that will last decades, and will be installed throughout our whole house (except bathrooms). Looking to spend around $6 sq ft. Only requirement is that it is a floating floor (dont want to glue or nail down). This process is waaay more overwhelming that I ever thought it could be....See MoreMohawk Engineered Hardwood vs Revwood Plus
Comments (0)We haven't liked any LVP due to the matte finish and low profile. We think, from research, the mohawk water resistance (marketed as waterproof) line of revwood plus is a great option for us (but would love opinions and reviews). However, the only color sample we liked was edgewood copper oak and it's not love, but likeable. We love the colors of their engineered hardwood line (and the shine that comes with it!). Java birch primary or coffee Hickory. It says aluminum oxide finish which is what the better lvp use so wondering if we can consider engineered hardwood even though we have dogs, young kids, etc. It is not water resistant and this will be our whole main floor, including kitchen (but downstairs bath would need a different floor...probably lvt). Thoughts/advice?...See MoreCleaning Mohawk Revwood Select floors
Comments (3)You're doing everything properly. How do I know? Because you already said it, "Looks great until a dog or person walks on it-footprints/pawprints everywhere!" I'm guessing you have MATTE finish??? You state, "A damp mop or microfiber mop seem to leave a film." The film can be the finish. Low gloss floors (again, I'm assuming...you can load a pic to prove/disprove my theory) have a history of looking 'hazy'. Load photos please. We'll see what we can see. But everything else sounds OK to me....See Morereview of Mohawk Revwood Plus
Comments (4)@barlettaa, do you have photos of your redwood aged copper install? I want to do this in my home but can't find pictures besides on the Mohawk site. Virtual viewer doesn't give an accurate look. Wondering about the number of repeats and variation....See MoreJo
