Brush strokes in hardwood floor? Help - they finish floor tomorro
Comments (1)Discuss it with them. Since we cannot see your floor, we cannot say whether or not the "slight imperfections" are those that are common and to be expected with an on-site finish. However, as someone who finishes wood flooring, I can tell you that it is almost nigh impossible to achieve a "flawless" result, especially when staining a floor a dark color. There is always going to be something that isn't perfect. Even factory finished flooring isn't always flaw-free. Any minor imperfection should be just that...minor. It should not be obvious when looking at it from eye level and it should not stand out as a mistake when viewing the entire floor. If you have to get down on your hands and knees to see it or position yourself so you can see it, that would not be reasonable....See MoreHallmark Floors, Forest Accents, Naturally Aged Floors, Help!
Comments (9)Chrissi, I chose Naturally Aged Hardwood flooring. We went with Countryside stain Medallion Collection. We LOVE them. They are a much better quality than I thought. And we had no issues with installation because these were glue down. This is what ours looks like but keep in mind I am in the middle of our Reno. There is dust everywhere. The floors are installed but they are coming back to finish the door jams etc.. the blue tape is some spots we need them to look at We love the variation and color. It is dark but a cool dark wood so it can go with our balboa mist Ben Moore paint (to be painted in the kitchen family room) and our very bright Super White BM trim and walls. Our other walls are Glass Slipper BM and they look great with these floors We really love the look of our floors. It is a rustic yet elegant feel. The floors have a variation that shows much more in the photos. I would 100% go with NAF again. I am really happy with the cost and quality of the them. ~boxer...See MoreTaupe kitchen cabinets and red oak floor. Help choose floor stain!

Comments (7)Don't use LVP, it's plastic (looks wise and feel wise) and not good for the environment. Check out Valinge which is a click (floating) eng. wood https://www.hardenedwood.valingeflooring.com/ Or try Karastan laminate, they have some beautiful, clean looks https://www.karastan.com/shop/Wood/detail/KLW01/Andilet/04/Morning_Fog_Oak?productLine=BelleLuxe%20Waterproof+Wood...See MoreRelated Professionals
