Hard to tell exactly what you want to do. You might as well finish it. If your walls are straight you can put furring strips up with drywall and a drop ceiling. Probably the cheapest and an easier way to go.

A private bathroom for staff only = office bathroom. In a public bathroom, I prefer nothing more than a sterile-appearing, clean-as-possible environment. I used to visit a hair salon that kept a carved angel, plants and wicker trash can in there. To say I disliked it was an understatement---but I think the salon owner thought of it as matching the "decor" of the salon. You may think that your staff wants a homey-looking bathroom, and maybe they do. But I wouldn't, especially in this day and age. I'd install an auto-on/auto-off faucet, auto soap dispenser, auto paper towel dispenser, and not overthink decor. The white/pink tile has charm anyway.

Popcorn ceilings can be covered with lighter materials such as paint, paneling, or planks. One option to consider is gypsum board paneling, a material that is very similar to drywall, but much lighter and easier for the ceiling to support.

I have a ceramic tiled, grouted rooftop deck on my townhouse and it was recently ruined by some type of solvent that a pressure cleaner used. The roof does not leak but it has some dips in it where the water likes to collect. We live in Pompano Beach and get a lot of rain. We are considering painting it (Quote: $3500 for 1000sf deck with grout painted a different color). Other than painting it, what are some other options we might have to cover it up?
