Entryway decorating ideas?
Comments (4)Paint walls a darker, more bold color (e.g., brown, blue, green). Hang dramatic light fixture, style based on rest of your home. Hang large (or multiple small) mirror/prints. Maybe an area rug/runner....See Moredecor ideas for this living room/entrance way
Comments (0)hello, we're looking for decor ideas/feedback. A few ideas we currently had are: -one long floating shelf above the couch between the lamps, or 2-3 shelves at different elevations. probably a natural wood colour. probably fill the shelves with white and black decor, and some small plants -large abstract painting above the couch on the opposite wall. However we're unsure of what colours to use -large circular mirror above accent table. There is already a large floor mirror straight across from this table, would that be too many mirrors? It is a big room/area... https://www.wayfair.ca/decor-pillows/pdp/mercury-row-yedinak-modern-and-contemporary-accent-mirror-c000613008.html?piid=34472739,34808506 some type of tall decor on the ledge near the stairs, maybe a plant? -we definitely want to replace the tables in the living room when our budget allows for it....See Moremaster bed layout and decor
Comments (5)I see a vent under the windows so that would not be a great place for a bed. I would put the bed against the opposite wall with a pretty headboard. You will then face the windows. If your bed is tall bed, you can handle I would put a dresser on one side and a chest of drawers on the other side since your room is long. You can hang the TV on the wall with a matching dresser underneath it or place it on a long dresser on the side of the wall near the windows that is on the side closer to the French doors....See Moreideas for entry-centered or off centered decor?
Comments (7)thanks for the comments! the table is very narrow and the length (about 65") covers the baseboard cover (ugh).. Although there is a center pretty light fixture, the lamps provide the atmosphere, especially at night.... Been looking for photos of similar stairs; can anyone provide some PICS with oen larger lamp, etc? so I can visualize a less symmetric styling? thank you so much....See Moremaxlevinson
