Pls Share Pics of TV Consoles/Stands/Armoires Wall mounted TV etc
Comments (19)I rarely turn our TV(s) on and don't like to see them when not in use. Great room television is hidden behind custom sliding panels ( two go left, one right). DVD player, TV equipment, etc is in niche with shutter door. MBR TV is in an antique armoire that was in LR of our last home. It also holds sweaters and extra bedding. Main level guest room. Lower level guest room. We do have a large flat screen that is not enclosed in the lower level den. I don't have a photograph to share but it's on a pine chest. Comments (29)I looked at yours again then looked at and measured ours. We have a 60" TV sitting on a 62" console...but the wall it is on is only about 68" long so we could not have gone with a longer console....there's about 3" of wall on each side. And I think that's the reason ours looks OK...the entire wall is TV and console. Since you have wall space on each side, it makes the console look dwarfed. Putting something on each side will make it look more proportional. I like the idea of a tall plant by the window. Maybe taller candleholders on the other side like the ones you have by the window, or even a large vertical print....See MoreTv wall ideas? Please
Comments (9)crystal, it does strike me as a bit plain mainly because the tv stand matches the wall color. I will assume it’s a gray tone on each, correct? That’s the color my monitor gives me. Since the ceiling height is so low there’s nothing you can do about that but the scale of your tv and stand seem fine to me. The decorating on the lower shelf also seems okay as there’s not much height for more bolder colored pieces or room to put something next to the tv. Perhaps other houzzers will get on here and comment and give you more concrete answers....See MoreAdvice on TV wall please- new entertainment center, or console, etc?
Comments (11)Thank you so much!!! Your ideas are very appreciated!!! Below is pic of rug that is in there. It has splashes of green (ties to kitchen) and lite blue (ties to gray living/dining walls that look blue lol). I thought I was following the rug rule that allowed for it to be in front of couches. To be honest it was a free rug, and matches the dining room and living room rugs and runner, I thought I was good keeping with the theme lol I actually just put this end table in my Amazon cart. Would something like that work? I have an extra lamp, shown in the living room pic to the right of couch I could put on top of end table. Is an entertainment/ build in look completely out of question? Think it would make room feel small? I will definitely move the pictures lower!!...See MoreRelated Professionals
