Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

White or Grey exterior paint

What do y’all think? Paint this 1977 old gal -exterior - white and install new black window frames or a dark grey with white windows and trim? I love the black and white idea but don’t know if that would look good on this style of house. Also, back of house is getting a new deck, pavilion, plunge pool. So the beigey decking with white railings is getting torn down. Thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

TY - I’m also committed to painting over the brick. I know no on likes painting brick but I want the house to be one color.

Seems a shame to paint that brick. Maybe one of the photoshop gurus can do a mockup for you of some color options. I'm no expert, but this seems craftsman-esque, which are always so rich in color and contrast. Good luck with your decision.

Check SW painters site for any gray color you like. Every color has white coordinating colors. What a lovely house on the lake! I think if you do a nice white all over including the brick, new garage doors in a wood look style or this pretty blue, modern lights it will look amazing. I really don’t think you need to trim everything out in black I would just go all white trim and everything the same color of white. In the rear of the house I would leave the brick wainscoting but paint the rest of the brick white.
