Some cards have a small sliding "lock" on the edge of the card. Make sure that is "unlocked". Beyond that, when viewing photos on the camera and zooming in and out, sometimes I'll "lock" a photo file. Select the locked photo, then rehit the lock button to unlock that file. Lazypup gives great advice. People seldom reformat their cards. With all the files that are created and deleted on a card, occasionally little bits of code can be left behind, or get jumbled. They can corrupt the card. So every once in a while, reformat the card. It wipes it clean and lets you start anew.

They are just there for your convenience. They're not really "saved" on your page...they are really in your friends' albums where they store them. When you click on one of the pictures, you'll notice that you are taken directly to your friends' albums. You don't have to click on that link at all if you don't want to.

Seems to be coming quite common. That happened with a thread started by Errant yesterday. It disappeared for everyone else, but she could still see it in the list. I'm not seeing the photo ones from earlier now either. If there's a problem with something posted it would be nice to get at least an email instead of *poof* gone since we're looking for clarification. - assuming Houzz pulled it.

Since posts are composed WYSIWYG the preview feature is real time. To delete a picture from a post as you are composing it use delete or backspace on the keyboard as you would do with text. Something that bugs me about this forum and it is the same as it was with GW is that when "YOU" post to a thread it shows as newly posted to (highlighted). Your own post should drive a thread to the top but it should only be highlighted if someone other you has posted to it alerting you to new posts. I dont need to be alerted to the fact that I have posted and the only way to removed the highlighting is to visit the thread just after posting which is kind of silly if you had just posted there.
