HELP arranging my bedroom! Should I put my bed in front of the window?
Comments (27)Hi everyone! Thank you so much again for your help and guidance. I thought I should pop in here for a quick update (I just hate when people post a question and never update their resolution!). It took almost 2 years but I'm finally at a good place with the bedroom decor. We ended up putting the bed up against the window because of symmetry and it also opened up a big space at the foot of the bed where we can play with our dog. We also ended up with a queen bed instead of a king. We don't mind the bed in front of the window at all. The bed has a wire headframe and barely blocks the light. We just need to hang some pictures or paintings and I think I can call the bedroom done! Thank you again for all of your wonderful suggestions and advice!...See MoreHelp getting my bedroom photo ready

Comments (2)You need closet space. If you can't fit things in you dressers, borrow a closet from elsewhere or put a wardrobe in the sunroom. Next, you probably don't use all the doors. Decide which one/s to block. Given the size of your space, I'd measure everything and do it on graph paper. Cut out your furniture, move it around. I'm guessing you moved your bedroom because you're housing another family member. If it's a kid, you might put your stuff on hangers in their closet. Get your clothes for tomorrow wjen you put them to bed....See MoreI could use some help with my bedroom!
Comments (27)I guess I sound insistant on what you need lol. I like the light neutrals you have now. IMO no to painting sheetrock walls an accent color, the trend seems to moving away and I agree. Painted molding as a feature wall is very contemporary when the paint color matches the rest of the walls. Unpainted natural wood tone is nice. If you want a molding wall consider headboard height behind the bed....See MoreRelated Professionals
