Light Pink Brick House - Need color suggestions for Trim

I have a light pink brick 1960 ranch house, the trim on the eaves is currently white and I would like to change it but don't know what colors would work. I have read that a charcoal grey would help contrast the pink brick the best - Can you help me find the right color?

Also I don't know what to do with the front flower beds if i should leave the linear and close to the house itself or redesign and expand them more into the yard.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Suggest you take off all the shutters; paint the trim on eves darker than the roof.

Can’t quite figure out the front door, but if that’s a storm door, paint the front door the same color…. How about blue?

Big improvement would be to beef up the columns…square columns.

I agree, remove the shutters, I was thinking of Charcoal color for the eves.

I like the idea of a blue/grey door, it will be replaced at a later time with a new one.

What do you think about faux wood columns for the front porch? Are they good quality?

Different wavelength... Put the siding as close to the color of the brick as possible, so that it visually doesn't cut the house height. Add trim of some kind around the door, which gives it more presence, maybe also around the windows as well. A darkish band separating the brick from the siding brings your eye up. Hope that makes sense. Several photoshops, each with progressively more options. Dark band only Trim around door, + dark band raised higher. House looks taller, and front door has more presence. Could of course change door color, also! Same as above but added more trim around the windows as well. Hope that helps!

If anyone can help I would be grateful! I really need to make a decision this weekend if possible. I know I need to do samples but would appreciate any direction on which SW whites to look at. I want it to be soft and warm/inviting and wouldn't even mind a cream if I can find on that still looks like a creamy white rather than yellow. Thoughts? Would SW Creamy work or go too yellow?

I had to have trim work done and the first paint looks way too yellow. Suggestions on trim colors? I am planning to replace these shutters with board and batten either dark navy or dark grey.

Yours is one of the better looking and nicely designed exteriors that I've seen on Houzz. I like the composition, scale and proportion. If you want to keep shutters on your home I would suggest replacing what you have with appropriately sized operable shutters. It's a bit hard to see in the photo but if your door and sidelights have 80's decorative glass I might consider replacing to update the look. You might even consider replacing the door and sidelights with double entry doors. I would suggest looking at your landscaping - especially thinning out some of the shrubs in front of the porch. Just to say again - you have a lovely home!

I'm fine with the shutters, but wish you had ones that fit. (They're too long.) Not a fan of the dark trim idea. The landscape needs to be redone. It is boring and a touch oppressive. If you want suggestions, move in closer with the camera, to about 1 1/2 car lengths from the house and take a series of slightly overlapping photos that pan from far left to far right, Include background space beyond each end of the house.

I don't mind the white eaves. If you feel you must change then go a little darker than the roof.

I'd remove the shutters from the porch windows. They detract from the entrance.
