Putting "in my opinion" here so I don't have to reitterate it throughout this note. :) I have to mirror the earlier suggestion to get rid of the shutters. When they very obviously would not cover the window they are flanking, they look extremely out of place. Before I saw the stone close-up I was thinking "BLACK!" But now that I've spent more time on the stone, I would avoid black. I lived diagonal from a pinkey-beige house with white trim and creamy landscaping accents. Then owners painted their formerly purple door & stair rail black, and their house instantly screamed "Candyland" (as in the board game) to me. All I could see when I looked at their house was the game card with the neopolitan ice cream sandwich. Ugh! I wonder how a dark reddish brown would look - one that if you went to the top of the strip would have a slightly pinkish color. Or a dark subdued blue. If you wanted to pull the shutters down, you could use your landscaping options to fill the empty space.

The architecture of your home is so pretty! I think the tan detracts from it, though. Is the tan paint new as well, or just the cream? I would carry the cream onto the shake siding. A cobalt blue would look lovely, but I think with the tan there might be a disproportionate amount of color going on. If the tan stays I'd carry the shutter color to the door for a more monochromatic scheme.

Yes, replacing all windows but not the arched window. So you think it would be okay to do dark framed windows on the front of the house and white on the back?

Hello! my name is Al I am from Conquest Painting LLC. I can't really say too much about the interior of the house since I do not know what it looks like but for the door I'd really think it would be a good idea to stain it and make it pop! it has a very nice rustic and wood design and if you paint it white the door will be a solid color and will lose that natural feel to it. White would look good as well but I think preserving that natural look to it would be really awesome as well.
