Starlet Beauty Series Roses
Comments (31)Ok, so thanks to the "must have Collette" thread, I started poking around on eBay, and found the Starlet roses for sale. I wound up ordering the pink, mauve, and tangerine starlet roses from Hirts Gardens. ( I ordered banana trees from them a year ago, and they were great ) I'm sure they will be tiny, but they look like good roses based on the pictures and comments here and on the Tantou site. Did anyone else wind up ordering or growing these? thanks! julie...See MoreTell about your Tantau roses
Comments (23)Tantau needs some kind of agent or distributor, which they could get, but for some reason choose not to. We've discussed this a lot on the forum, and I don't know what the latest news is, but it would seem that Tantau could make a tidy sum in the US/Canada rose market. I see I've posted some old photos of Augusta Luise, so here are some newer ones. She's my very favorite rose. Diane...See MoreCan't believe I just ordered more roses!
Comments (10)You go girl!! I keep putting roses in the Hortico cart myself. Never get around to placing an order tho. I actually already have a big order coming from them next month. Was supposed to go out in Dec or Jan, but I guess the harsh winter pushed the order back. I want a few more climbers to put inside the veggie pen, to climb all over the fence to cover it up, so been scoping those, plus some other roses, including the newer DAs that they added recently. I got my FREDERICK MISTRAL from them last yr. It only got this one bloom on it, but I'm sure this yr it will do great. And you will love JESSIKA! She's a real beauty. I've had mine for over 20yrs....See MoreJessica/Jessika Tantau rose
Comments (14)LOL that's one of MY pictures! Several yrs ago they asked me if they could use some of my pics for their roses... so I sent them that one. Whether they actually have the "real" JESSIKA or not, I do not know. Hopefully Sara-Ann's boo-boo rose is just that. I still think she should contact them and get a replacement. If it ends up being that same bright pink rose, then they need to stop listing the rose on their website. In fact, I need to inform them that my second MONET rose was the wrong one AGAIN. Then they can change their description and put up a pic of the lavender one....See MoreLynn-in-TX-Z8b- Austin Area/Hill Country
