A CBS Survivor post on Instagram yesterday showed a clip of the tribes arriving at the challenge and Jeff saying the "Get a look at the new tribe" bit. Parvati's jaw dropped, Sandra looked totally shocked... Jeff said something about it being the biggest reaction he'd ever seen.

Previews have all also shown that Jeff tells the three tribes that two teams will be going to tribal council and sending members to Redemption Island. So, it will be an interesting show.

But, please, please, please, vote Sandra off!!!

How it would make my week if Parvati and Sandra BOTH got sent home!!! I would consider it the luck of the Irish.

Really looking forward to this distraction tonight! Maybe the other 2 tribes will feel empowered by seeing Rob gone and will go for their big guns too!

I'm so happy to see Sandra out, but mainly just don't want her, Rob or Parv coming back to be on the jury. Looking forward to seeing the three and Amber on Extinction.

I watched last night finally. I almost fell over when I saw Sandra's name. WTG Denise! She has my vote for best move of the game so far! I didn't see that coming at all - brilliant!

As soon as Sandra raised her hand to sit out I thought here we go again. I bet the next season the no sitting out the same player in back to back challenges will be in place again. I can't believe it's not this time! So happy they had 2 eliminations! Woo hoo!

The "not sitting out the same player in back-to-back challenges" rule has always been in effect, but it only comes into play when there are two challenges in one episode, e.g, a reward challenge and an immunity challenge. So far this season, all of the challenges have been a combined reward/immunity challenge.

I think that if they go back to two tribes, which they might because they're down to 12 players, so it would be two teams of 6, they could do separate challenges. Of course, since they need to devote time to the folks on Redemption Island and what happens with someone on RI trying to get fire tokens from a player still in the game, they probably don't have time for two challenges.

I'm just kinda surprised that we haven't seen any of the players on Sandra's team(s) complaining about her always being the one to sit out the challenges.

They don't complain because they want to actually win the challenges. Better she be on the bench.

Next week or the week after should be the merge. And last time they did Edge of Extinction, they brought back players two different times. So we can look forward to that, too.
