I would take down the arch and open up the porch. The arches don’t go with the style of the house.

The arches seem quite unusual for this house, plus they don‘t even match each other.

What material are the front doors? In the picture provided, they almost look like aluminum framed doors, the type you might find on the front of an elementary school.

They are aluminum storm doors. I am hoping to just remove them entirely and paint the wooden front doors behind a brighter color.

@flopsycat1 Yes, redoing the front porch is definitely out of the question right now. I agree about the tree! The lawn has two more weird stiff shaped trees but the picture was taken in front of them so you can't see them. Taking out the trees and putting a softer looking type in is definitely on my list. Thank you!

The first and foremost change I'd make it to widen the approach apron that lead to the entrance. Presently, it looks severely pinched, which translates to less welcoming. If there was a way to add a small tree to the left side, that would help integrate the house with its surroundings, and make it look less like an 'extension' of the neighbor's house. Beyond that, add groundcover instead of desert-like rocks, and a few more plants that includes some seasonal color. Be careful to maintain the existing shrubs within their space. Otherwise, there'll be a renovation afoot that includes them. (That I don't include the climbing rose over the arch does not mean I'm against it. I'm for it.)

I would vote for the pediment and trim being all one color ... that is not dark brown.

I don't know if it would stand out too much in your neighborhood but your house would look nice in a stucco finish and Spanish style roof. If you look at stucco/Spanish home styles you'll see all kinds of arches. You could also curve your entry door too then.

I like your arches! They don't look like anyone else's house: just yours.

My first take was that the lollipop trees have gotta go, but yardvaark's version with an additional lollipop tree pulling it all together works very well. The lollipop shapes echo the inventive arches.

What state are you in? Do you have greenery all year round, can you do a massive arbor covering the whole front and not have it look dead most of the year?

Too bad that window isn't bigger. IMO that's what's making the "look" off. If you could make it look bigger with greenery (treelets on either side?), the front would look more balanced.

Ooops...guess I missed the front door. Looking more closely, what I thought were windows appears to be the entry.

I'm in Missouri, we have green for a lot of the year but not all year. Do you have any pictures of what kind of arbor you mean? I love gardening and all things green so I am intrigued.

Yes the window does look pretty small and unbalanced. @Yardvaark's second picture has shutters added which look nice. Maybe I will look into that more.
