Comments (14)Mark, again, thank you for your input. Our neighbors have used Milgard fiberglass windows. I know that they will perform well in the salt air environment. The only objection I have is for combination windows due to the width of the area where the two different types of windows meet. One thing we could do in order to eliminate the sight lines being blocked, is to use a combination of a fixed window and then put a transom window above it. Because the windows are so tall it will be well above even the tallest person's sight lines. Our other option might be to use a different type of window in the great room area which encompasses a living, dining, kitchen area and open stairwell....See MoreTraditional Dining Table - Need Help integrating to match our decor
Comments (2)My inclination would be to paint it black, not with chalk paint, but a high-gloss finish. Love something like this canvas for your room…bridge cables. $69.00 each…an industrial take on the high back dining chair. Rug has to go anyway, but it isn’t the right size/shape. You need something that is at least 2’ bigger than the table. Probably and 8 x 10. The wall decor, I am glad you are replacing it. I don’t think that mirror is the answer, though....See MoreExterior windows and grid help needed on contemporary house
Comments (3)IMO this house does not suit double hung or grilled windows go with nice casements and in the same color as you have in aluminum. This is not a traditional home so embrace what it is or go shopping for what you want. You will have to careful if changing paint color with that stone and on my monitor it is hard to see what the siding material is....See MorePlease Help! Comments (27)Love the cow in foyer - makes me smile & makes the “serious“ art less so. May be perspective in photo but foyer looks long a bit austere. A longer table would help? Or, a chair or something with that ”weight“ next to existing table & on the front door side (right side facing table). Agree Larger art would be good over fireplace & would like to see the large piece you showed up there just to see difference It makes. Agree the items under existing art should be removed - leave the pitcher & 2 pieces on other end. Beautiful home !...See MoreRelated Professionals
