Kitchen cabinet used as bathroom vanity?
Comments (14)As kitchenobsessed mentioned, many of the cabinet companies offer bathroom specific cabinets. They may be slightly different in specs than the kitchen cabinets so just check the specs. I also used "bathroom base cabinets"from Schuler in my kitchen to create a hutch. I wanted 21" deep base cabinets and the bathroom cabs came in 21 and 18" depths so they were perfect and I didn't have to pay a custom fee. Same height and door styles, etc as my kitchen cabs. The only difference was that the shelves inside were only 1/2 shelves....See MoreUse Ikea kitchen cabinets in bathroom
Comments (15)The reasons for not using an Ikea vanity are: -Already used one in guest bedroom. -Color choices very limited. White won't work (that's what I used in the guest bathroom) due to color scheme (which is mostly white carrera marble). The "wood" effects looked really fake and cheap to me. Gray gloss could work, but do I want the same cabinets in my bathroom as my kitchen? -The vanity will not fit wall to wall and there are no panels to make it do so. That leaves a useless gap/wasted space on each side of the vanity. -The vanity drawers are impractical for storing cleaning products/taller items. In my guest bath, I cannot store bottles like windex, etc. -In the other bath, to wall mount the vanity required extensive reinforcing. In other words, tearing the walls open. I was hoping to avoid that. The vanities connect in very specific specific point to the wall (which is almost never the stud). The kitchen cabinets use a rail....See MoreCan I use a kitchen faucet in my bathroom sink
Comments (9)Here ia a link to the specs on the faucet you have chosen: https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/content/Pfister/ss-lg26-xnxx Based on these specs, plumbing-wise there is no reason that this wouldn't work, however In addition to the issues that have been raised so far (see Sammy's comment above), this faucet is very tall and will probably look out of scale. It may also be in the way for tasks like washing one's face. If you like the faucet suggested by Sammy- go with that!...See MoreCan i use a bathroom vanity light as a kitchen sconce?
Comments (7)Without seeing size and location of windows or your kitchen’s style, can’t really provide input on your choice. My only thought is that this type is often seen in bathrooms. Maybe if you search double sconces and not include “kitchen”, you may see others that you like better....See MoreJAN MOYER
