Recirculating fan my only option over induction range--vent it or not?

I'm trying to design a kitchen remodel of a 2nd home; we'll be installing a 30" induction range. This is a condo/townhouse. It's an middle unit, and to top it all off, the kitchen is placed in the middle of the unit so there is no window and no outside wall and no possibility of outside venting.

We've eliminated the microwave/vent fan over the range possibility.

I know that true venting with a real hood to the outside is much preferable, but we can't do it. So, is it even worth putting some sort of recirculating hood over the range? Or, is it just going to be a waste of money? (Our primary home has a gas range that has a hood that is vented outside. It's nice to be able to turn it on, and the filters do get kind of gross with grease. So, I am well aware of what a decent fan can do.)

If I don't put some kind of recirculating (even if they're ineffective) fan hood over the range, what do I do over the range? If you do think I should install a recirculating fan (one that does't cost an arm and a leg) I'd appreciate model number recommendations too. Thanks.
