I’m leaving Sunday for two weeks in Louisiana. Family, Mardi Gras, it’s my winter vacation. The garden is supposed to be a non-issue this time of year. I got home before dark today And took a little garden walk and what did I see?

I moved Montana Aureomarginata to a vole protected spin out bad and put it in the darkest most cold exposed part of the garden, but it’s still way ahead of the game. The low tonight is 35F but tomorrow it goes down to 22F. There are already two nights with mid twenties temps projected for while I’m gone. Should I try to protect it or just let it freeze tomorrow night?
