U will need to break through the masonry to install an exhaust vent. otherwise i can't see what you can do. the heat has to go somewhere.

A note: every set of prefab metal shelves I've ever seen -- whether expensive or inexpensive -- has at least one too few shelves. There's always a ton of wasted space above items--which suckers me into setting stuff *on top of* the bins, etc., and then it's a pain to get them out, bcs I have to get the junk out of the way before I can pull the box out. Some shelving units will let you purchase extra shelves, and if there are lots of holes, you can make a shelf if you'd like out of wood, and then install bolts through the holes as shelf supports. So that's my input. You can end up with that "seductive gap" problem if you use wall-mounted shelves with angled shelf supports: you can't slide the box all the way back through the shelf support, so you have to mount it a little higher.

I had no problem finding multiple sources for LED strip lights of various colors. Our electrician had samples of 5000K and 2700K, both of which we hated. The 2700K was so warm. In fact I can't imagine even warmer lights. The 5000K was way too blue white. We ended up getting something between 3500 and 4000K (I can't remember) from a local lighting store. They also lent us samples so we could test them at home with our counter and backsplash samples as well as in our cabinets (we're using it for in-cabinet and undercabinet lighting). The intensity of the light also makes a huge difference in how the color appears and even such minor details as the background color of the strip. We found the white strips to seem brighter than the copper colored strips (I assume this is a reflection issue)? So your best bet is to find a place that has lots of options. To post pictures: 1. Open an account on a free picture hosting site such as Photobucket, Webshots, Flickr, etc. 2. Make your album "public" so others can see your pictures .....In Photobucket: Click on "Account Options" (top right corner) ..........Next, click "Edit Album Settings" ..........Then, where it says "My album is", be sure it says "Public" (if not, change it to "Public") 3. Using camera software that came with your camera or other software like Microsoft Picture Manager, resize the picture so it's less than 600 pixels in both directions. It's best to resize based on a percentage (like 20%) so the picture dimensions remain consistent (not stretched out vertically or horizontally!) 4. Upload the picture to your account (see #1) 5. If you use Photobucket, when you see your picture on the site, copy the link from the box labeled "HTML Code" (I don't know where the link is in Webshots, Flicker, etc.--I use Photobucket) .....[BTW...You can also resize your pic on the Photobucket site] 6. Simply paste the link from the "HTML Code" in your message...you're done! When you preview your message you will see the picture. Is this understandable???
