Comments (4)Sorry, I just don't see the craftsman style working here, windows OR door. I'm not coming up with a door that would permit you to look outside. I see a solid door or one with two rectangular lights at the top -- you'd have some light, but couldn't see out (and no one could see in). Comments (6)I would say roller shades can be warm. The composition of our roller shades help maintain the warmth in your house; these can also protect you from sunlight and sun heat during the day. So, I would say you can add blackout shades for privacy and on top you can have light filtering shades. Blackout is more for privacy, whereas light filtering is for letting the sun enter.
